July 2010, ECCOM participates in the deployment of the Shanghai World Expo’s ticketing system, which has been in stable operations for the past two months. During this period, the Shanghai World Expo network infrastructure successfully supported over ten million ticket transactions with zero interruption to the network, ensuring the stable operations of the World Expo.
As the Shanghai World Expo gains more and more recognition and praise, attendance has reached record highs; with admission reaching over 550,000 visitors in a single day (June 27th) since the Expo began, attendance exceeded 20 million by June 28th putting significant importance on the Expo’s ticketing system.
The ticketing system covered 13 ticketing offices in Pudong and Puxi, and involved the deployment of a wide range of both conventional and industrial switches. Through our professional and strong technical expertise, ECCOM successfully deployed the underlying infrastructure to support the online ticketing system, and the increase in traffic during this period.
