From February 26-27, 2009, the 2009 Cisco China Unified Communication Partner Summit theme as "Cooperation Gaining Strength, Innovation Accelerating Development" was grandly held at JW Marriott Hotel Beijing. This Summit was mainly for Cisco's key communication partners in China. It was the second time to hold it in China since its 2007 debut in China.
At the Summit, Cisco shared its development plan and channel strategy of unified communication in China with its partners. In terms of markets, Cisco would pay close attention to the SME market for unified communication, and focus on the development of vertical industries such as energy, retails and transportation, etc., and expand its market coverage of regional cities. In terms of solutions, Cisco would pay close attention to the application of IP Call Center (IPCC), Cisco TelePresence, Unified Communications (UC) and third-party suppliers on relevant platforms. With the support of a new channel strategy, Cisco would continue to innovate with Chinese channel partners on the basis of enhanced collaboration, thus realizing the constant growth of business.
At the Summit, Cisco presented the 2008 Best Unified Communication Partner Award in China to ECCOM. ECCOM had won the top award for unified communication business for the third time successively since 2006 and 2007, which fully reflected its leading position among the domestic UC partners of Cisco.
