On Mar.13th -17th, 2006, the annual Cisco Partners Summit is held in San Diego, a beautiful coastal city in California. The ECCOM team of six, led by Mr. Song Shimin (Executive VP), attends this summit, where ECCOM wins Cisco APAC Best Partner Award Government /Corporate Market 2005. ECCOM is one of the only two domestic companies that win APAC Best Partner Award.
Mr. John Chambers (Cisco President) and Keith Goodwin (Global Channel VP) deliver speeches at the summit. Cisco, centering on the theme of Edge, introduces edge strategies in technology, product, market and service and analyses existing opportunities and challenges in the changing market. Cisco still sees Chinese market as a fast-growing market and focuses on video, voice, security and data integration businesses. Meanwhile, Cisco announces latest measures targeting on Cisco Channel Partner Scheme, which shall improve management on life service cycle.
Cisco demonstrates new-generation communications product-Unified Communication and some partners introduce value-added applications based on Cisco products such as security management, performance management and IPT overall management.
This summit helps us to learn Cisco strategies and future market expectations and promote communication and exchange with channel partners, so it is our sincere hope that in the new financial year cooperation between Cisco and ECCOM shall become much closer.
