In December, 2010, after completing the Phase I aided construction project taking the Wenchuan County People's Hospital as the core, ECCOM progressed to the implementation of the Phase II Project taking the construction of a public health center network at the town and township level as the main task.
In April, 2010, following the cooperation with Cisco's medical team for aided construction, ECCOM and Cisco's education team for aided construction joined again to build the campus TelePresence network, which created a new model for distance teaching and virtual education in remote areas, and initially realized the sharing of educational resources and information based on education MAN.
In 2010, during the aided construction in Sichuan, ECCOM's staff found that most public health centers at the town and township level in Wenchuan had no heating facilities, and the case was true even in the delivery rooms. All the staff of ECCOM who participated in the aided construction project actively donated money together with Cisco's medical team for aided construction in disaster areas of Sichuan, and donated 110 electric heaters to the delivery rooms of public health centers at the town and township level in Wenchuan earthquake-stricken areas successively.
In October, 2009, ECCOM launched the second aid project in Wenchuan - the Wenchuan Data Center & Emergency Center Construction Project in Wenchuan County. ECCOM's engineers stationed in the Wenchuan site and overcame various difficulties in carrying out equipment installation and commissioning.
In August 2009, ECCOM participated in and completed the first project of rehabilitation consultation network and mobile medical vehicle aided by Cisco, which was successfully handed over to Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital.
In June, 2008, Cisco donated a TelePresence 3000 system to Chengdu Telecom, and ECCOM's engineers then rushed to the scene for the installation and commissioning of the system at short notice, so as to communicate about all situations of reconstruction in the disaster area in a timely and smooth manner.
