In January 2020, after the outbreak of COVID-19 around China, ECCOM supported two designated hospitals in Wuhan, namely, Union Hospital and Wuhan Children's Hospital, with a total of 16 video terminal equipment, 6 switches and 60 protective suits, and positively participated in the construction of mobile cabin hospitals for Union Hospital and Taikang Tongji (Wuhan) Hospital. ECCOM'S engineers rushed to the frontline to help Wuhan tide over the difficulties.
Wuhan Children's Hospital Project
As a designated hospital for COVID-19 treatment, Wuhan Children's Hospital lacked the access equipment in the process of ward renovation and installation. ECCOM donated a batch of switches and video diagnostic medical devices to temporarily solve the problem of ward network access, helping improve the efficiency of the Hospital's remote consultation and diagnosis.
Union Hospital Project
As a key designated hospital for COVID-19 treatment, Union Hospital set up many designated assistance hospitals and mobile cabin hospitals. ECCOM donated video conference equipment to Union Hospital in two batches to help the newly opened mobile cabin hospitals complete the joint consultation through video diagnostic medical devices.
Taikang Tongji (Wuhan) Hospital Project
Taikang Tongji (Wuhan) Hospital was temporarily requisitioned and transformed into a mobile cabin hospital. To help the Hospital carry out rescue work, ECCOM's engineers rushed to the scene to complete a large number of unpacking and installation of APs and switches. They completed the installation, deployment and commissioning of a total of 80 switches and 30 APs, with over 200 switches fully installed and configured for online operation. In May, 2020, Taikang Tongji (Wuhan) Hospital was officially opened for admissions, and ECCOM undertook its informatization infrastructure construction project line to escort the Hospital's treatment work.
