February 28, 2011 - March 3, ECCOM attended the Cisco Global Partner Summit in New Orleans. With two thousand Cisco partners in attendance, guests gathered to exchange ideas and market experience.
ECCOM won Cisco’s “Best Partner Award” based on outstanding performance in 2010 for the Greater China region.
The Cisco Partner Summit global awards recognizes partners who demonstrate best-in- industry business practices and are a model example of all Cisco channel partners. Awards are based on a variety of factors and include innovative business practices, applicable achievements, unique projects and/or programs, and relevant support and sales performance. All winners selected by Cisco Worldwide Channels and Regional teams.
On March 1st, Cisco announced a new Partner Program that will help partners position themselves for the cloud, promote the development of cloud-based business models, and benefit from cloud-based market opportunities. Cisco's "Cloud Partner Program” (CPP) offers partners flexibility with the availability of three types of Cloud Partners: Cloud Builders, Cloud Providers, and Cloud Services addressing varying levels of market opportunities.
Cisco also unveiled its’ latest Smart Services program— Cisco Collaborative Professional Services helping partners to enhance their professional services capabilities, accelerate sales (end-to-end communication), and provide solution or “architecture-based” development when engaging customers.
