June 4 - June 6, 2013, Cisco’s “Today, Tomorrow, Together” Partner Summit in Boston, USA.
At the 2013 Cisco Partner Summit, Cisco announced a series of new initiatives designed to promote the company and global channel partner cooperation. The new incentive program was launched in hope that it will foster further cooperation between Cisco and its’ partners.
In addition, Cisco also announced the establishment of a global partner network to promote collaboration between partners, and help partners and customers achieve greater success. Cisco will also establish a web-based system "Cisco Commerce Workspace" enabling partners manage their global contracts, and facilitate communication with Cisco.
At the awards dinner, ECCOM was awarded for its’ outstanding performance in Cisco’s Collaboration Architecture “Global Architectural Excellence Collaboration Partner of the Year” award, and was the only Greater China region partner to be awarded a global award.
Global Awards are given to those who demonstrate best-in-industry business practices and are a model example for other channel partners. Awards are based on a variety of factors and include innovative business practices, applicable achievements, unique projects and/or programs, and relevant support and sales performance. All winners are Cisco’s Worldwide Channels partners and the award was presented to the world's top 16 partners from different countries and regions.
Cisco Senior Vice President of Worldwide Channels, Edison Peres, said “The success of our partners is extremely important, and I am honored to once again award ECCOM a global award in recognition of ECCOM’s outstanding achievements as a Cisco channel partner “.
During the meeting, ECCOM and Cisco continued to discuss the future direction of the company and strategic cooperation for the future. We believe that through continued collaboration with Cisco in key areas, advanced and emerging technologies, and services, ECCOM will better meet its’ customers needs and become one of Cisco’s most competitive long-term partner.
